DELIVERY: Information and terms

Delivery fees are  60$ plus tax. Only valid for the sectors for which delivery is offered. The price of the order must be 500$ or more to be delivered. The cost of the products are the prices that are in effect when you order online.

E-mails will be sent for order confirmations and for delivery confirmations.

An order sent before 12 p.m. can be prepared and delivered for the next day, depending on availability and your preferences. Orders can be ordered up to 10 working days in advance. The delivery service is between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Some products, such as special order products for example, may take longer to order and receive. If a similar situation occurs, our staff will contact you to discuss the different possibilities with you directly.

If a refund is requested after an order has been prepared, Aubut will keep a $15 preparation fee to cover the cancellation of the order.

When the order is pre-authorized, an amount corresponding to 25% of the invoice amount is added to the order amount. In the end, only the invoice amount is charged.

Terms of delivery

A responsible person must be present when the order arrives. Please note that if you are not present, we need to know who will be present during the delivery to have your order form signed. 5 minutes of unanswered wait after arrival with at least two call attempts and the truck will be allowed to continue its day and return the order to Distribution Alimentaire Aubut.

We do not deliver to PO (post office) boxes. Deliveries to the areas indicated are valid for local areas, business areas and commercial areas. One address per order only, the order will be delivered to the address indicated.It is important to make sure that the delivery person has space to unload the delivery with their transport truck in a safe area. If the delivery person cannot complete the delivery, the order will be returned to the company and a new delivery date will be assigned in addition to invoicing the delivery costs again to your account. The products in your order will not be exchangeable or refundable, so the products loaded in the order will be the same as on the first delivery attempt.

Your delivery will be brought to your property entrance. Delivery through a back door or other easily accessible location will only be permitted if these have been specified in the order. Placing items on shelves and any activity other than simply delivering the order to your address is not part of our delivery service. It is important to note that the delivery person will take care of unloading the goods from the truck at the delivery address, under no circumstances should the delivery person be asked to place the goods at their storage location inside your business.

It is possible that if you order full or half full pallets that you will receive Chep blue pallets. If so, a 28$ deposit will be requested and the 28$ deposit will be returned once the Chep pallet is returned to the store. You can always do a Chep pallet exchange to avoid a deposit, so you donate one to receive one with no deposit required.

IN-STORE PICK-UPS: Information and terms

The fees for order preparations are 15$ plus tax. Order pickings must be 150$ or more to be able to do order picking. The cost of the products are the prices that are in effect when you order online.E-mails will be sent for order confirmations and for delivery confirmations.

An order sent before 12 p.m. can be prepared for the next day, depending on availability and your preferences up to 5 working days. For pick-ups, it is strongly recommended that you check your order status before going to the store during our opening hours.

Some products, such as special order products, may take longer to order and receive. If a similar situation occurs, our staff will contact you to discuss the different possibilities with you directly.

The order confirmation email indicates that the order has been received, to have the pickup confirmation, you must wait for the email with the final invoice which will indicate that the amount has been charged and that your items are ready to be picked up.

Pick-up conditions

Please bring your order number and driver's license. A photocopy of your license will be kept for our records. Your information will not be shared. The person picking up your order must match with the information on your online order and driver's license. Otherwise, you will not be able to pick up your order, unless we have your agreement in advance. 

It is essential that the pick-up date corresponds to the day selected. If you don't come, only one additional day will be tolerated in case of unforeseen circumstances to pick up your order. If you still don't come on the additional day, a late fee of $15 will be added to your order. It will be applied each day until the day the order is received.

If you order full or half-full pallets, you may receive blue Chep pallets. If this is the case, you will be notified and a $28 deposit will be required, which will be refunded once the Chep pallet is returned to the store. You can always exchange a Chep pallet to avoid a deposit, i.e. give one away to receive one without a deposit.

If your order was placed for Aubut Montréal on the website, it will be in Montréal. If you placed your order for Aubut Laval, it will be in Aubut Laval.

Return policies

All authorized returns will be admissible in store only. No exchange or refund without the invoice for a maximum period of 21 days. No return on expired, refrigerated, frozen or special order product. A 5% returned item fee will be charged on returns over $ 200 or worn. A return cannot be made for an order whose quantities have been incorrectly calculated by the customer, which do not please the customer or any other reason deemed invalid.

For returns on delivery, some products may be returned if there is a product breakage, a billing error, an incorrect quantity, a faded product or other special reasons authorized.   A product return sheet must be completed and signed with the descriptions of the products concerned to be able to be refunded on the products if the reasons are valid. Note that if the order was due for a day for which no responsible person has shown up, the products will possibly not be refunded if it is simply because of a faded product that was in good condition during the initial pick-up or delivery.

Returns or exchanges on promotion items or gift cards will not be permitted.

Refunds are made on the prices of the products at the time of purchase. Product returns are only possible if the items in question were purchased from Distribution Alimentaire Aubut.
